But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.      - Hebrews 11:6

When we engage in expository preaching, working through a book of the Bible, we sometimes stumble upon wisdom that we might not otherwise uncover. Genesis 5 tells us of a mysterious man named Enoch who walked with God, was taken up and did not die! Enoch is held up in Hebrews 11 as a hero and example for Christians as to how to live by faith. He is mentioned in other Scriptures, as well as by the early Church.  This lesson examines Enoch, that we might imitate his faith and his diligence in seeking God.
