Home » Teaching » Old Testament » Genesis » The Fall Of Man Cain Abel Genesis 36 416 |  December 11, 2016

These passages of Scripture lay the foundation for the entire Biblical story describing the relationship of God and mankind. Here we learn of the Fall, the sin of Adam, Eve, and Satan, and the consequences of such sin. These passages include Scripture often quoted in the New Testament describing the relationship of man and woman, their roles and their responsibilities to one another and to God. These passages include prophecies and foreshadowing of Christ, who offers the solution to death and the Fall. We also read here the story of Cain and Abel (referenced frequently in the New Testament) to warn, encourage, and guide us in our walk with God and our love for one another.
