Farewell to the Ephesian Elders (Acts 20)

Home » Teaching » New Testament » Acts » Acts 20 |  July 31, 2022

In his farewell address to the Ephesian elders, Paul looks back on his three years with that church and also looks ahead to what they should expect in days to come. Paul reminds them of his own example: his way of life, the gospel he preached, the warnings he gave, and his passionate desire to “finish the race” despite the afflictions before him. Through this window into Paul's life and ministry, we gain practical insights into godly leadership, being prepared to face problems in the church, and what it will take to run our own spiritual race.
